What is your sick policy? It’s important that we all take precautions so that our children stay safe and healthy. Here are some things to note if you are trying to decide whether to attend class or stay home. If you or your child has; a runny nose, fever within 7 days, vomiting or diarrhea within 48 hours, cough, contagious rash or any other illness, please stay home and rest instead of coming to class. If anyone in your home has been exposed to COVID-19, or is currently sick with COVID-19, please stay home and follow CDC guidelines regarding quarantining. Please notify us if you can’t make it to class as a courtesy.
What is your cancelation policy? Please see our full cancelation policy here
Do I have to be vaccinated to attend your class? Yes. We will be checking proof of vaccination before your first class with us.
Will my child have to wear a mask? Children over 2 are required to try to wear a mask at all times. I know it can be difficult to get a young child to adhere to this, so I only ask that we all try to encourage it.
Where is the class located? Our shady and secure backyard in Northern Pasadena. Address will be provided upon registration.
Will I have to wear a mask? All adults in attendance will be fully vaccinated, and therefore mask usage will be up to your personal preference. We follow all local and national guidelines, so this may change as the guidelines change.
How many children and adults are in each class? We cap our classes at 12 children and we only allow 1 child per adult. There are many reason for this, but most importantly, this is so each child has supervision at all times and to keep the class small and cozy. Up to 2 adults can accompany each child.
Can I wear my baby or bring a sibling with me? Every child that attends, including babies, must be accompanied by a vaccinated adult. This includes all siblings. Babies under 6 mo. are free of charge, but must be accompanied by their own adult. We have to be very strict with this policy for safety and insurance reasons.
What are you doing regarding Covid safety? Romp & Rollick is committed to the safety and happiness of our families and therefore we strictly comply with all CDC COVID-19 guidelines. In addition, we are developing water and sensory setups that support social distancing and offers opportunities for the children to spread out, we will not be enforcing distancing between the children but we ask the adults to do their best to spread out. We clean all toys and materials between each class with soap and water. Between classes we also clean the sensory bin materials with rubbing alcohol when possible or replace the material when that’s not possible.
What happened to the drop-in option? As part of our Covid safety measures we decided it was best to eliminate the drop-in option for our full quarter classes. The class you register for will be comprised of a stable cohort, meaning you will play with the same families every week. This decreases the exposure to different households. Our classes are a perfect choice for a COVID-safe household that believes that their child needs regular interaction with their peers. We kept the price as low as possible knowing some families would not be able to attend every single class and would want to reserve their spot for when they can attend. We will be offering around 2 drop-in per quarter throughout the year for families that can’t make the commitment to a full quarter.
What time should I arrive for class? Plan to arrive a few minutes ahead of the start of Story Fun Time, as we begin promptly.
Will we still have class if its raining? Yes! We have a rainy day plan that takes advantage of the wet weather and is lots of fun! If there is ever lightning or other dangerous weather conditions, I will send an email to let everyone know class is canceled and we will provide a credit of the pro-rated value of the class(es) which can be used toward a future booking.
Can I make-up a class that I have to miss for illness or personal reasons? Romp & Rollick will not provide any credits, refunds, or make-up classes for any classes that you have to miss due to illness or other personal reasons. Please contact us to discuss your personal circumstances.
